Interior remodel of a historical structure. The project involved demolition of load bearing walls to create open floor plan. Contemporary design complemented historical details. The biggest challenge was to obtain work approval from Victorian Historical Commission to replace the building-original single-pane windows and slate roof. The owner had to make concessions in the scope of work and repair rather than replace.
